Do you guarantee your Service?

Yes we do. If we don't improve your credit reports with all 3 credit bureaus after 90 days, then we will return your entire investment. Our experience spans over 10 years in helping thousands of people in restoring their credit to allow them the home, car, etc., they deserve without paying high interest rates and large down-payments. We are licensed, fully bonded and solely focused on removing negative credit from your credit reports. We focus solely on the task at hand, removing the negative credit from your credit reports. After all, this is what you are purchasing. It is this philosophy that has made us an industry leader and allows us to offer our unique guarantee.

Can I restore my own credit?

Disputing the credit report is easy. Getting results from the credit bureaus is amazingly difficult, complex, and infuriating. It is not a coincidence that the Federal Trade Commission receives more complaints against credit bureaus that any other type of business. Remember, the credit bureaus are primarily interested in protecting their profits. Investigating your challenge consumes that profits. Short of sparking a mass number of lawsuits, the credit bureaus seem to do everything in their power to discourage consumers from making progress in their restoration efforts. Given some experience and study, you could do some of what our staff does. It is much like your right as a citizen to represent yourself in court.  However, most people choose to utilize a credit correction company to represent them because we understand this complex system better.  Also, a major factor to consider is the amount of time and follow-up required to coordinate disputes with all tree credit reporting agencies. My Credit Medic has systematized the disputation of credit through a trained staff and a custom designed software package.  Restoring  your own credit is like repairing your own transmission or representing yourself in court; it is possible, but you must decide if you are willing to take the time and assume the risks of doing it yourself.

What are the costs of the service and what does it cover?

The fees are set at $595.00 for an individual and $995.00 for a couple. This includes 6 months of  disputation attempts at all 3 credit bureaus for each person, acquiring initial credit reports if necessary, and whatever else is necessary to achieve the highest level of success possible. (There are no other or "hidden" charges!)  We also legally challenge the creditors directly and also have a special rapid rescore program available.

Why dispute the negative items more than once?

Over the years we have found that the repetition is very critical to the success of the program. It's that old proven concept of "Persistence wears out resistance!" With our process we typically see substantial improvement in the first 30-45 days, so beware of the companies that want to charge on a monthly basis. After all, would you hire someone to paint your house on an hourly basis?

What are my responsibilities as the consumer in this process?

Credit reports will arrive first at your home and then you will forward them to us. So, when we accomplish deletions and improvements, you will see them first on your credit report.  Each time a disputation is sent to the credit bureaus, your only responsibility is to make sure that whatever correspondence you receive in the mail, is forwarded on to us immediately. We will send you a letter notifying you each time this occurs with instructions in detail as to what to do as well as supplying you with a toll free number to our processing center or by e-mail.

How long does credit repair take?

Although our process takes, on average, 30-90 days we cannot gaurantee a
specific deadline as to how long the entire process will take.

How do I get updates on credit repair status?

Credit reports will arrive first at your home and at that point it is up to you to forward copies of them to us. So, when we accomplish deletions and improvements, you will see them first on your subsequent credit report.

Also, you are encouraged to call or email your representative and request an update of the progress of your case.

What if deleted items reappear on my credit report?

On occasion, a negative listing that was recently deleted may eventually be verified by the creditor. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that the credit bureau inform you before the re-report a previously deleted listing. The FCRA also makes it more difficult for credit bureaus to re-report listings. Because of these factors, it is fairly rare for listings to come back on once they've been deleted.

If a questionable credit item is re-reported, it is a simple matter to challenge the listing again at a future time to press for permanent deletion.

WHAT DO WE DO & HOW WE DO IT?

Just how accurate are the bureaus?

There are 3 credit reporting agencies, with thousands of data entry employees, entering billions of items of credit data. This includes personal data as well as credit and public record information.  There is definitely room for errors.  [According to recent government surveys: 80-85% of ALL credit reports are INCORRECT!]

Are the bureaus governed by law?

Yes they are.  The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) & the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act)  is the federal law that governs how credit information is collected, distributed, reported and corrected in case of errors. You are entitled to a free copy of the law from any Federal Trade Commission office and entitled to dispute anything inaccurate on your credit report.  Fortunately, Congress has passed laws within the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) which regulates the actions of the credit reporting agencies.  Before anything may be added onto your credit report, the credit reporting agencies must ensure that:

How Can I Improve My Credit Score?

Your credit score lets lenders know what kind of a credit risk you are. They know whether to trust you and give you better loan rates. Landlords can determine whether you are likely to pay your rent on time. Employers can use your credit score to determine whether to trust you with a high-responsibility job that requires you to handle money.

So if you are wondering “How Can I Improve my Credit Score” here are some tips:

1. Pay Down Your Debts – Lenders like to see that you are using less than 50% of your available credit. So if you limit on a particular card is $5,000 try to keep the balance below $2500 on that particular card.

2. Be careful of inquiries on your credit report – Every time you apply for credit you get an inquiry on your credit report. Lender don’t like to see a lot of inquires at once because it looks like you are applying for a lot of credit and trying to overextend yourself.

3. Dispute errors on your credit report – Credit agencies aren’t perfect and make mistakes. You should make it a habit of getting a copy of all 3 credit reports and disputing any inaccurate information.

You can get a Free Copy of your Credit Report by contacting the 3 Major Agencies

Experian ………. 888-397-3742 ….  www.Experian.com
Equifax …………   800-685-1111 ….   www.Equifax.com
TransUnion …..    800-888-4213 ….  www.TransUnion.com

4. Pay your bills on time - 35% of your Credit Score is determined by how you pay your bills. This easy step is one of the best ways to boost your credit score.

5. Avoid excessive credit cards – Having a lot of credit cards, even if you aren’t using them, can lower your credit score. Don’t apply for lots of credit cards “just in case” you need them. Try to keep to only one or two credit cards

By taking these small but powerful steps you can have a dramatic impact on your financial life!
